It stated that a fire had broken out in the Parimpora area of \u200b\u200bSrinagar.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Approximately 20 sheds gutted in a massive fire at Parimpora locality in Srinagar. Fire and Emergency Services has contained the fire. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bRSn8N3iZ2\">pic.twitter.com\/bRSn8N3iZ2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 DD NEWS SRINAGAR (@ddnewsSrinagar) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ddnewsSrinagar\/status\/1446100602073673735?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 7, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Local outlet &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greaterkashmir.com\/srinagar\/blaze-guts-several-houses-in-srinagars-parimpora\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greater Kashmir<\/a>&#8216; had published an article about this incident. According to the article, a few houses had caught fire in Parimpora on the outskirts of Srinagar.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-104936 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/word-image-16.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"783\" height=\"850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/word-image-16.jpeg 783w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/word-image-16-276x300.jpeg 276w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/10\/word-image-16-768x834.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 783px) 100vw, 783px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <a href=\"https:\/\/thegnskashmir.com\/40-structures-damaged-in-parimpora-fire-incident-officials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Global News Service (GNS)<\/a>, officials from the Fire Department revealed that the burnt buildings included some wooden structures and houses. They suspected that the accident was caused by a short circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Other outlets like <a href=\"https:\/\/kashmirpatriot.com\/2021\/10\/07\/massive-blaze-breaks-out-in-srinagars-parimpora-locality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kashmir Patriot<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/qnstv.com\/Post\/Watch-VideoMassiveBlazeBreaksOutinSrinagar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QNS TV<\/a> also covered the fire. However, there is no mention of a temple being burnt anywhere in these reports.
