The tweet states that the man in the picture is an &#8220;arts&#8221; teacher in a school in Tamil Nadu named M Prabhu. The teacher reportedly staged a protest against the government by burning the Indian flag. (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/oZDDq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Archived link<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">)<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Meet Mr M Prabhu, a arts teacher at a school in Tamil Nadu. He protests against the government by burning the Indian flag.<br \/>\nHate any government, but never hate the nation that gives you an identity! You might be a Tamil,Telugu,Marathi etc but you&#8217;re an Indian first! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zOVhXWWYls\">pic.twitter.com\/zOVhXWWYls<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Girish Bharadwaj (@Girishvhp) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Girishvhp\/status\/981358037603528704?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 4, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Upon further investigation, we found the image in a 2018 article by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edexlive.com\/news\/2018\/apr\/02\/art-teacher-burns-tricolour-for-cauvery-management-board-2385.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Edexlive<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the education arm of The New Indian Express. According to the article, the man in the video is 34-year-old M Prabhu who teaches painting. He is also affiliated with the Tamil nationalist organization \u2018Tamil Desiya Periyakkam\u2019. Angered by the non-formation of the Cauvery Management Board (CMB) even after a Supreme Court order, M Prabhu burnt the tricolor in protest of the BJP-led central government.
