In this photo, along with farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, wrestlers Bajrang Punia, Deepak Punia and Ravi Kumar Dahiya are seen sitting on a stage. It is shared with the claim that it was clicked during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/india\/how-indian-farmers-protest-turned-into-country-wide-movement-2021-09-09\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">farmers&#8217; protest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rajasthan Youth Congress tweeted the picture and wrote, &#8220;This photo is of the farmers&#8217; movement. target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> with the same claim.<\/p>\n<h4>Fact-check<\/h4>\n<p>We noticed that in the viral picture there is a poster at the back that has text written in Hindi that reads &#8216;Players&#8217; (\u2018\u0916\u093f\u0932\u093e\u095c\u093f\u092f\u094b\u0902 \u0915\u093e&#8217;) and &#8216;Ceremony&#8217; (&#8216;\u0938\u092e\u093e\u0930\u094b\u0939&#8217;) written on it. Taking these clues, we performed a Google search using relevant keywords. This took us to a report by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etvbharat.com\/hindi\/haryana\/state\/sonipat\/farmer-leaders-honored-medal-winners-at-tokyo-olympics\/haryana20210910185140967\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETV Bharat<\/a> published in September 2021. According to this report, the Sarvjati Kisan Garib Manch had organized a felicitation ceremony in Kharkhoda, Sonipat. In this programme, the winners of the Tokyo Olympics were honoured. In this video, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait made a statement saying that a player does not belong to any party, caste, or religion.
