Addressing the gathering from the stage, Irani said that Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi kicked off his &#8216;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/hindi\/india-news\/the-bharat-jodo-yatra-by-rahul-gandhi-is-being-billed-by-the-party-as-the-longest-rally\/2658299\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bharat Jodo Yatra<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8216; (Connect India Rally) from Kanyakumari without paying his respects to Swami Vivekananda at the Vivekananda Memorial located there because Swami Vivekananda was not a member of the Gandhi family. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is worth noting under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party is conducting the &#8216;Bharat Jodo Yatra&#8217; from Kanyakumari. The five-month padyatra will witness the leaders passing through 12 Indian states, culminating in Kashmir.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this video of Smriti Irani&#8217;s speech on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=RoDstIgNBTQ\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">YOYO TV Kannada<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s YouTube channel, she remarks at the 46:45 mark, &#8220;Today I want to ask the Congress party something. You claim you are traveling to bring India together. If you commenced your journey from Kanyakumari, you should have had the decency to pay respects to Swami Vivekananda. Along with the video, Congress leaders also shared a tweet by news agency ANI covering Gandhi&#8217;s visit to the Vivekananda Memorial.
