Hindenburg Research is an investor research firm founded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2023-02-09\/hindenburg-research-adani-paper-boosts-nathan-anderson-s-name\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nathan Anderson<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the issue raised a huge row in the Parliament and the Congress launched <a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/india\/adani-hindenburg-row-congress-protests-parliament-adjournments-8426775\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a nationwide protest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, several Facebook users claimed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had met Hindenburg founder Nathan Anderson and shared a photo. href=\"https:\/\/yandex.com\/images\/search?rpt=imageview&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Favatars.mds.yandex.net%2Fget-images-cbir%2F8779363%2FwjQ-j3wKc_vi7iWoWc3dVA3970%2Forig&amp;cbir_id=8779363%2FwjQ-j3wKc_vi7iWoWc3dVA3970\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yandex<\/a>, Alt News was able to get hold of several media reports from back in 2018 when Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi had visited Germany.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/india\/in-hamburg-rahul-discusses-kerala-floods-gst-with-german-minister\/articleshow\/65505670.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Times of India<\/a> carried the photo with a report of Rahul Gandhi&#8217;s meeting with German ministers in Hamburg. <a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/india\/rahul-gandhi-discusses-kerala-floods-gst-with-german-minister-in-hamburg-5319864\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Indian Express<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tribuneindia.com\/news\/archive\/nation\/in-hamburg-rahul-discusses-kerala-floods-gst-with-german-minister-641072\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Tribune India<\/a> also published similar reports<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tribuneindia.com\/news\/archive\/nation\/in-hamburg-rahul-discusses-kerala-floods-gst-with-german-minister-641072\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">.<\/a> The image is from August 22, 2018 and the gentleman beside Rahul is identified in all these reports as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NielsAnnen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neils Annen<\/a>, a minister of state and member of parliament.<\/p>\n<p>The following is a screenshot of a PTI story carried by The Indian Express.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
