Indian National Congress<\/a> and Divya Spandana<\/a>, head of INC social media have shared a five-month old video of Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje’s rally claiming to be a video of PM Modi’s Jaipur rally on July 7, 2018. In the video, people can be heard chanting, “\u092e\u094b\u0926\u0940 \u0924\u0941\u0938\u0947 \u092c\u0948\u0930 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902, \u0935\u0938\u0941\u0902\u0927\u0930\u093e \u0924\u0947\u0930\u0940 \u0916\u0948\u0930 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 \u0914\u0930 \u0935\u0938\u0941\u0902\u0927\u0930\u093e \u0924\u0947\u0930\u0947 \u091a\u0915\u094d\u0915\u0930 \u092e\u0947\u0902, \u092e\u094b\u0926\u0940 \u092e\u093e\u0930\u093e \u091c\u093e\u092f\u0947\u0917\u093e (We have nothing against you Modi, but Vasundhara won’t be spared and because of Vasudhara, Modi will also have to bear the brunt -translated)<\/i>“. The tweet from the official INC handle has been retweeted more than 1100 times and ‘liked’ more than 1900 times.<\/p>\n

Sachin Pilot, Rajasthan Congress President questioned<\/a> the role of media for not showing “parts of the allegedly ‘successful’ rally” <\/i>. A screenshot of the deleted tweet can be seen below.<\/p>\n

Congress realises its faux pas<\/h2>\n

Realising their blunder, Congress twitter handle clarified that the video belonged to a CM Vasundhara Raje rally in Jhunjhunu, where the Prime Minister was also present.<\/p>\n
