The violence has so far resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives, besides displacing thousands of people from their homes and villages. The tension between these two communities shows no sign of stopping, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatoday.in\/india\/story\/fresh-violence-two-manipur-districts-houses-set-on-fire-gun-fight-meitei-kuki-2412531-2023-07-27\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fresh cases of conflict<\/a> keep coming up even after months of unabated violence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A Twitter user posted the viral clip on July 27, claiming that Kuki terrorists were causing widespread destruction to Meitei villages by dropping petrol bombs with the help of drones. In the description section of the video, it is written that this drone attack was conducted by the liberationist group against the military for nearly half an hour, starting at 8 PM.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XR1SBJ4cCM0]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The same video was posted on their <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mandalayfreepress\/videos\/699824625160820\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Facebook<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> page as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To sum up, the viral video is from Myanmar, and does not show Kuki terrorists carrying out drone attacks on Meitei villages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A video is viral on social media which shows two persons releasing drones into the sky, followed by aerial footage of bombs being dropped on several houses.
