In the video, one of the police officers can be seen pinning the man to the ground with his right foot and holding a gun to his face.\u00a0 Another police officer and a man in plain clothes torture him by removing his nails.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter user IrAm (@The_Iram__) shared the above-mentioned video on August 6 with a caption in Hindi that can be translated as: &#8220;Don&#8217;t know where this video is from, but strict action should be taken against these savage policemen. The government has filled everyone with so much hatred that people have come down to brutality \ud83d\ude22\ud83d\ude22&#8221; The user later deleted the tweet but it had already received over 38,000 views and had been retweeted over 1,700 times by then. (<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/pmnua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Archive<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-162806\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2023\/08\/Screenshot-2023-08-07-214106.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"428\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<h4>Fact Check<\/h4>\n<p>After breaking down the video into several key-frames, we ran a reverse image search on one of them. This led us to a YouTube channel called Vipin Pandey Entertainment Production. We found the viral video on this channel in the form of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/nf31oOjgH7U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube short<\/a>. It was uploaded on July 28 with the caption: &#8220;Coming soon video So please support my youtube channel&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-162762\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2023\/08\/Screenshot-2023-08-07-161133.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"349\" height=\"505\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2023\/08\/Screenshot-2023-08-07-161133.png 349w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2023\/08\/Screenshot-2023-08-07-161133-207x300.png 207w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 349px) 100vw, 349px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On examining the contents produced by the channel further, we found that the YouTube channel produced short &#8216;movies&#8217; performed by actors. On July 31, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Edc_MF6YLSU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a> was published by the channel that featured the same people as seen in the viral video. Before this &#8216;movie&#8217; begins, a poster with the name of the short film and the name of the actors and crew members involved is shown. Following this a text appears on the screen in Hindi that says, &#8220;This story is inspired by true events&#8221;. We noticed that his bio said &#8216;Artist&#8217; and he <a href=\"https:\/\/fb.watch\/mgzaoj2_cu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shared<\/a> the related YouTube video on his Facebook profile with the hashtag &#8216;video creator&#8217;. He also shared a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/298484786171399\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reel<\/a> from the same video with a caption in Hindi that said: &#8220;My short movie &#8216;dosti ki saza&#8217; video is out, please like, subscribe and comment.
