According to the text on the screen, this are from August 17, 2018. Unlike for most of the visuals shown in the reportage, the location of the visual in question wasn&#8217;t stated. Although, it may be noted that the report was based on the <i>&#8220;Kerala floods 2018&#8221;<\/i> and thhe channel also promoted the hashtag <em>#StandWithKerala<\/em> while the footage was rolling.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>International Ensemble<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thequint.com\/news\/india\/kerala-flood-relief-live-updates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kerala is witnessing the worst floods<\/a> in almost a century, where the death toll has risen to 357 leaving over 7.2 lakh people displaced. The former hasn&#8217;t <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LdTaparia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a> since March 19, 2018.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Video is from Kodagu, Karnataka<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On Saturday, Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy visited Kodagu(Coorg), one of the worst hit districts in the southern states. An article published by <i><a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/india\/1500-stranded-in-flood-hit-kodagu-of-karnataka-cm-visits-affected-areas\/articleshow\/65454157.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Times of India<\/a><\/i><i> <\/i>on August 19, 2018, quoted a statement from the CM<i>, &#8220;At least 1,500 people are stranded in various parts of the district, but the rescue officials have not been able to reach them due to bad weather and landslides. Efforts are being made to rescue them.&#8221;<\/i> The incident of two storey house sliding down a slope due to a landslide is from <a href=\"https:\/\/scroll.in\/video\/890919\/watch-a-two-storeyed-building-went-sliding-down-a-hill-after-incessant-rains-in-karnataka-s-kodagu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kodagu, Karnataka<\/a> and not from Kerala.<\/p>\n<p>An article published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenewsminute.com\/article\/watch-two-storey-building-sliding-down-hill-kodagu-shows-how-bad-rains-are-86702\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The News Minute<\/a> on August 16, 2018 stated, <i>&#8220;This scary video of the landslide in Kodagu shows how dangerous the situation in the district has turned.Luckily, no one was in the building at the time of the incident.
