Several users called for legal action against the women in the video. Responding to the matter, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) told the media that the authenticity of the video was &#8220;doubtful&#8221; and it might have been created using deep fake technology. Some users also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pawanyadav8\/status\/1771706991158706322\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pointed out the same<\/a> on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Several mainstream news outlets such as <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/yNahn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Times of India<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/UfQDX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hindustan Times<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/VivEE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indian Express<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/KRTxI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WION<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/dw8WF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NDTV<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/g3U5A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aaj We also found more such <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CxotJ8lPtnb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">videos<\/a> of hers in the Delhi metro.<\/p>\n<p>The now-viral video posted by Preeti Morya on Instagram had another handle tagged in it, that of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kmvineeta269\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@kmvineeta269<\/a>. This handle belonged to Km Vineeta, the other woman in the viral video. We noticed that @kmvineeta269&#8217;s profile photo was an image of the two women in the viral video, which had the words &#8220;My best friend Preeti&#8221; embedded in it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-191528 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2024\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-03-26-at-14.54.13_d5962968-166x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"416\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2024\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-03-26-at-14.54.13_d5962968-166x300.jpg 166w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2024\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-03-26-at-14.54.13_d5962968-566x1024.jpg 566w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2024\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-03-26-at-14.54.13_d5962968-768x1390.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2024\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-03-26-at-14.54.13_d5962968-849x1536.jpg 849w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2024\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-03-26-at-14.54.13_d5962968.jpg 884w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px\" \/>On Km Vineeta&#8217;s profile, we found many other reels wherein she and Preeti Morya could be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C40YzF7pLin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">seen together<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The above findings indicate that the viral video is real.<\/p>\n<p>Further, we came across another version of the viral video taken from a different angle seemingly recorded by one of the passengers in the metro.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud83d\udea8 That&#8217;s not a deepfake video.
