Hence 272 is the majority figure.<\/p>\n<p>Modi said in Gujarati, &#8220;If you want to form a government, then at least 272 seats are required. Except for the BJP, no political party in the country is contesting 272 seats, and then they are saying they will form the government. Even the royal family of Delhi is not going to vote for Congress&#8230; There is no Congress candidate where they vote&#8230; Ahmed Patel&#8217;s family in Bharuch will not vote for Congress&#8230; A big Congress leader who votes in Bhavnagar, will not be able to vote for Congress. The page shared a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/INCSandesh\/status\/1782432495524598134\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">consolidated list<\/a> of Lok Sabha candidates contesting from constituencies across the country on April 22 which consisted of a total of 301 names.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">LOK SABHA ELECTIONS &#8211; 2024<\/p>\n<p>List of Congress Candidates :- <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Ip9qeiofYG\">pic.twitter.com\/Ip9qeiofYG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 INC Sandesh (@INCSandesh) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/INCSandesh\/status\/1782432495524598134?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 22, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Further, we found that after the publication of this list, the Congress had announced 26 more candidates till April 30. These candidates have been <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=from%3A%40INCSandesh%20%22Lok%20Sabha%22&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> in constituencies in the states of Bihar (1), Andhra Pradesh (3), Telangana (3), Maharashtra (2), Haryana (9), Odisha (2), Punjab (4) and Himachal Pradesh (2).
