400\">While investigating the incident, Alt News found that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelallantop.com\/news\/post\/uttar-pradesh-bijnor-bjp-leaders-son-beaten-elderly-couple-viral-video\">The Lallantop<\/a> had spoken to Dr. Birbal Singh, the accused doctor&#8217;s father and BJP leader. He acknowledged that his son assaulted the elderly man, stating, &#8220;This incident is very unfortunate. Whatever happened is painful for me. This incident happened suddenly. My son was going to his clinic. The victims are our neighbours and relatives.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Following this, we examined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100008189163125&amp;mibextid=ZbWKwL\">accused Dr. Abhinav Singh&#8217;s Facebook page<\/a>, which revealed that the viral picture being circulated was of a different man named Abhinav Singh Chauhan, who had no connection to this incident. Due to the similarity in names, his image was mistakenly circulated online.
