clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Fake newspaper clip<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Searching the newspaper clip with different keywords did not bring up any results. It is improbable that a\u00a0statement where Amit Shah calls members of the Baniya and business community &#8216;cheaters&#8217; and &#8216;thieves&#8217; was unreported by mainstream media.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Alt News looked at news reports and the video of Shah rallying in Bundi. The government, as claimed in the article, is working on a model to acquire foreign investments in this regard.<\/p>\n<h5><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23819 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2018\/12\/section-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"292\" height=\"437\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2018\/12\/section-2.png 292w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2018\/12\/section-2-200x300.png 200w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2018\/12\/section-2-281x420.png 281w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 292px) 100vw, 292px\" \/><strong>&#8220;Modi also called businessmen thieves&#8221;<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The concluding paragraph of the article claimed that Prime Minister Modi also compared businessmen and the Baniya community with &#8220;thieves&#8221;. The newspaper clip suggested that PM Modi, while on a foreign trip, said that demonetisation was undertaken as a move against the black money hoarded by businessmen.
