Alok Verma had addressed his resignation letter to the Secretary of Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). A picture of the letter was tweeted by journalist Nidhi Razdan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The text of the letter was also reported by several media organizations. An article published by Hindustan Times<\/a><\/i> on January 11 also reproduced the letter, a copy of which is posted below. As can be seen in the letter below, at no point in the letter did Alok Verma refer to the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n
