It is, in fact, a voice-activated spring. Ergo, the louder you shout, the higher the water goes, irrespective of what you scream.<\/p>\n<p>Alt News found the original video on a Chinese video streaming website <a href=\"https:\/\/v.qq.com\/x\/page\/z0774r7symd.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tencent Video (v.qq.com)<\/a>. From what it seems, the fountain is not in Thailand, but China. The start of the video does seem similar to the viral video. However, the later parts of the video show a different location with another voice-activated fountain.
