This report contained details about the incident but the names of the accused were not mentioned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Readers should note that the higher judiciary has repeatedly made the observation that identities of rape victims can&#8217;t be disclosed by the media directly or indirectly. This includes revealing the names of their relatives. According to these articles, FIRs under several IPC sections, including the POCSO Act, had been registered and the three accused, the 60-year-old grandfather, 40-year-old father and 35-year-old uncle of the minor, were arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/sites\/2\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-23-1024x1005.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to the statement given by the victim to the police in the report, her parents had a fight about 10 to 12 years ago. Following this, she left for New Delhi with her mother. About four years ago, her father and uncle went to Delhi and took her back to their village. After a few months, her grandfather, father and uncle began sexually abusing her. Her mother had died about one and a half year back.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The report further states that on December 22, 2024, the trio attempted to kill the victim. She managed to escape and reached her aunt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We also found a video-recorded statement by additional SP Alok Mishra on the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/auraiyapolice\/status\/1872599352407146861\">Auraiya Police\u2019s X handle<\/a> speaking on this incident.
