Upon clicking the link, one encounters the notice: The link This video may no longer exist, or you don&#8217;t have permission to view it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Verified X user <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Sakshi__Sonam__\/status\/1898323338356789705\">Sakshi Sonam<\/a> also promoted the video and claimed, \u201cAbdul married his own daughter\u201d. He called for Hindus to retweet his posts, and also called Shiv Sena\u2019s Bala Saheb a Hindu and Uddhav Thackeray a so-called Muslim. (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/8Rmoi\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Archived link<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The viral clip is also being circulated on social media by some users as an incident from Pakistan. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">X user <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/theinformant_x\/status\/1903817745197642064\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@theinformant_x<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> claims to be \u201can independent and liberal journalist covering global news\u201d. He described the video as being from Pakistan and added that a Muslim man married a child, and in Islamic communities, hundreds of thousands of young girls were often forced to marry much older men against their will.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Fact Check<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alt News performed a reverse image search using key frames from the viral video. This led us to two Instagram reels featuring the footage in question uploaded by a user named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/official_rajthakur__\">Raj Thakur<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DG0nEzeSI-J\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\">March 5<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DG3BzY8yZyC\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\">March 6, 2025<\/a>, along with a YouTube channel named Raj Thakur <a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/shorts\/umsN59yrNro?si=oSRJAUMEtrsU-783\">on March 5, 2025<\/a>. The captions below all the videos clearly mention that the content is totally scripted, and does not depict a real incident. It also mentions that the full video can be found on a Facebook page named Raj Thakur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/sites\/2\/2025\/03\/%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%9C-%E0%A4%A0%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%95%E0%A5%81%E0%A4%B0-%E0%A4%87%E0%A4%82%E0%A4%B8%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%9F%E0%A4%BE-1-1024x819.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Upon further investigation, we found a longer version of the viral video uploaded on Raj Thakur\u2019s Facebook page on March 6, 2025. However, this video, too, has now been made unavailable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alt News combed through Raj Thakur\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@RajThakurrrrOfficial\/shorts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/official_rajthakur__?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&amp;igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Instagram<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=61551628316133\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a> pages. His social media profiles reveal that he is a video content creator and has also posted several other scripted videos titled, \u2018Metro me chori\u2019 (Robbery in the metro), and \u2018train me chori\u2019 (Robbery in the train).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/sites\/2\/2025\/03\/Untitled-design-2-1024x442.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We also noticed the young actress seen in the viral footage appearing in <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/hk-AVBYApos?si=0FxCsiK2wMKgDHs0\">other similar videos<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@ashwanipandey8718\">Ashwani Pandey\u2019s<\/a> YouTube channel, another creator who makes scripted content for entertainment purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hk-AVBYApos?si=VaBqYaH_7S1hgcP3]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So, to sum up, a scripted video was falsely shared on social media as the depiction of a real incident of an elderly man marrying his own daughter, with users taking aim at the Muslim community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A video of an elderly man wearing a white kurta and a skullcap sitting with a young girl has been gathering a lot of traction on social media.
