href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/hylXd\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alok Tiwari<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> claimed that this was the first picture of the captured Pakistani pilot. (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/hylXd\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Archived link<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/sites\/2\/2025\/05\/Screenshot-2025-05-09T153631.203-590x1024.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A YouTube channel named <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/YR_JXf53KMA?si=iUW_VoCijDjJ15wR\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2018Dekho Dekho\u2019<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which has more than 16 Lakh subscribers, made a similar claim while promoting the viral image.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Fact Check<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alt News performed a reverse image search of the alleged picture. It had been uploaded on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.in\/detail\/news-photo\/turkish-millitary-personnel-arrive-near-a-turkish-f16-war-news-photo\/629360812?adppopup=true\">Getty Images<\/a> website on December 12, 2016. According to the information provided here, this photograph was taken by AFP journalist Ilyas Akengin. It shows Turkish military personnel safely evacuating a pilot from a plane near a crashed Turkish F16 fighter jet on December 12, 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/sites\/2\/2025\/05\/te-1024x775.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to news agency <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/maailm.postimees.ee\/3944055\/turgi-kaguosas-kukkus-alla-turgi-havitaja-piloot-katapulteerus\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Postimees<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the F-16 fighter plane that took off for training from the southeastern city of Diyarbakir crashed shortly after it had left the runway.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/sites\/2\/2025\/05\/OSTIMEE-1024x755.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In other words, the image in question is about nine-year-old.
