the invention, but found none.<\/p>\n<p>Thereafter, we ran a reverse image search on one of the key frames from the viral video, which led us to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=z8qvSNkiB9M&amp;ab_channel=DrTerryMoore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this<\/a> YouTube video, uploaded in March 2007.<\/p>\n<p>[youtube loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-302408\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2025\/07\/Screenshot_95.jpg\" this, we ran a relevant keyword search and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsjournal.net\/Science-Journals\/Research%20Papers-Engineering\/Download\/8210\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found<\/a> that the device seen in the video, developed by John Searl, is a Searl Effect Generator (SEG). It uses rotating magnets arranged in a ring to generate energy by harnessing electrostatic charges from the atmosphere. This was developed in the 1940s.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, this invention was <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Hm_cSmvmIXs?si=XuM5o4cAoggPD1OG&amp;t=316\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">critiqued<\/a> for its use of &#8216;fraudulent science&#8217;. Many allege that the SEG&#8217;s magnetic phenomenon has not been constructively demonstrated or tested.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, claims that India invented a magnetic generator under the Modi government are baseless and fabricated. No credible media outlets have reported this.
