The husband informs the cops that the two have been conspiring to kill him and shows them evidence. The man tells the police that his name is Gaurav, but while checking his phone and investigating, they discover that his name is actually Salim and that he is married. The wife seems unaware of this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On July 15, 2025, X user <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/PMOkW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">@KreatelyMedia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which has spread misinformation in the past, shared this video and wrote, &#8220;Gaurav turned out to be Salim&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"hi\">\u0917\u094c\u0930\u0935 \u0928\u093f\u0915\u0932\u093e \u0938\u0932\u0940\u092e <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/wIayCHjTRd\">pic.twitter.com\/wIayCHjTRd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kreately.in (@KreatelyMedia) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KreatelyMedia\/status\/1945135850343322105?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 15, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A YouTube channel called <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/3PWro\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Star Network News<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> shared the video on July 16, 2025. The video&#8217;s Hindi title roughly translates to: \u201cHusband catches wife with lover, wife threatens to kill, Gaurav turned out to be a married man named Salim\u201d. posing as a policeman is actually a content creator named Deepak Sharma, who makes entertainment videos. We have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/scripted-video-shared-as-salim-warned-policeman-to-make-him-suspend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previously written about scripted videos<\/a> made by Sharma, featuring him, that have been shared with false claims.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/sites\/2\/2025\/07\/Untitled-design-50-1024x403.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\nWe found the source video posted on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/15hLhX3iA9\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Facebook page<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/lFhlhMlj58s?si=hgdqVsJAqkmFj5Bp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">YouTube channel<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of \u201cMonty Deepak Sharma\u201d as well as the Facebook page \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/v\/16cX1DHskM\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Actor Monty Sharma<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d. The original video is about 10 minutes long. It is worth noting that the creator has not added any disclaimer here that this is a scripted video.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Upon further investigation, we also found a video of the same skit shot from a different angle on Deepak Sharma&#8217;s Instagram account &#8220;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DMDUp93T-JV\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Monty Deepak Sharma<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8221; and a Facebook page named &#8220;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/v\/1CSQTkaPRn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Actor Monty Sharma<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this, a disclaimer appears at the 00:03-minute mark in the video. It states that this is a work of fiction and made for entertainment purposes. However, the disclaimer appears for less than a second, which means the audience will barely be able to read it or notice it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/hindi\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/sites\/2\/2025\/07\/Untitled-design-52-1024x864.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oTQxn6Wupss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">actors<\/a> seen in the viral video also appear in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DL2OtxPTfVL\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">many other<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DLFkijlTTwV\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">scripted videos<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In other words, the viral video is scripted and the saga of Gaurav or Salim&#8217;s so-called affair is fictional. Several social media users fell for the misleading nature of the content, which does not carry apt disclaimers, making it . seem like a real incident.
