The government has also reiterated that it was able to contain much of the damage from Pakistan&#8217;s attacks.<\/p>\n<p>When we looked at the clip carefully, we noticed that in the segment where Shah speaks, there are some irregularities in the lip and head movements. So we tried looking for the full<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/HbgZa_vJLME?si=EZss2SZcK-t5gSfo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0interview<\/a> from which the shorter clip has been taken. We found the 36-minute long interview uploaded on Firstpost&#8217;s YouTube channel on September 19, 2025. We watched the whole clip carefully and found that the part where the host, Rahul Joshi, introduces himself has been taken from the original interview directly. However, whatever Amit Shah appears to be saying in the viral clip are very different from what he says in the interview.<\/p>\n<p>[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HbgZa_vJLME?si=lwFDrkvC0dHSeCCu]<\/p>\n<p>We went through the full interview to check if Amit Shah made the controversial statements criticising PM Modi and NSA Ajit Doval over the conflict with Pakistan following Operation Sindoor but found none. We also noticed a slight difference in Shah&#8217;s voice and Hindi grammar when we compared the original interview with the viral clip. The original interview appears to be digitally manipulated using artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the viral clip showing Home Minister Amit Shah &#8216;admitting&#8217; that Pakistani missiles hit several locations in India during Operation Sindoor, and saying that Prime Minister Modi should resign, is digitally manipulated.
