In the photo on the right, she is supposedly harvesting wheat. The above post by the Facebook page<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/unoffarnabgoswami\/posts\/2147493331997353\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Unofficial: Dr. Arnab Goswami<\/a> <\/em>which has quoted a Facebook user <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/orijit.sen\/posts\/10157291167287718\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Orijit Sen<\/a>, who had posted this image. Sen&#8217;s post has now been deleted. It has a following of over 200,000. The same has been posted by another page, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DrunkJournalist\/posts\/2300170290254204\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Drunk Journalist<\/em><\/a>, shared over 1200 times within an hour of posting. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/thenewfekuexpress\/photos\/a.1664415890474405\/2302696659979655\/?type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Feku Express<\/em><\/a>, a popular anti-Modi page on Facebook, posted this image, which garnered over 2500 shares within an hour of posting. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ChorHaiChowkidar\/posts\/2130411753744384\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>BJP Trolls<\/em><\/a> is another page which posted this juxtaposed image. All these pages posted the image almost simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>The image has also been shared by countless users on Twitter, derisively referring to Hema Malini as a &#8216;helicopter farmer&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Misleading images of Hema Malini viral\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/328172486?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"808\" height=\"632\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Photos from 2014 and 2015<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Alt News reverse-searched both photographs and found that they are old, and not representative of Hema Malini&#8217;s recent visit to the wheat field.<\/p>\n<p>The image on the left i.e. the photo of Hema Malini seated inside a helicopter, was taken in 2015. Hema Malini herself had tweeted this photo in October 2015. It was clicked at Patna.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Day 2 of campaigning &#8211; leaving frm Patna <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TA5vcxsM96\">pic.twitter.com\/TA5vcxsM96<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Hema Malini (@dreamgirlhema) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dreamgirlhema\/status\/656716113959518208?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 21, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As for the photograph on the right, Alt News found it was clicked in 2014. The photo was published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amarujala.com\/photo-gallery\/news-archives\/india-news-archives\/dream-girl-cut-crop-of-vote\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Amar Ujala<\/em><\/a> in April 2014.
