The claim that an ambulance was stopped by Delhi police for BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, is false. Searching the key words ‘Manoj Tiwari Delhi Ambulance’, Alt News found that this video had gone viral earlier as well, with the same claim. The video is of 2017, and was uploaded on Facebook by a user. It is almost 2 minutes long.<\/p>\n

The video was streamed live on April 1, 2017, and shows that the police did not allow the ambulance to pass the barricade. Alt News also found a news report by Hindustan Times<\/em><\/a> dated April 5, 2017, related to the incident. According to the report, the incident took place near the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, and the route was blocked as the convoy of the Head of Malaysia was to pass from the area.<\/p>\n

The report also quotes a senior police officer who had said, “The ambulance was stuck behind several cars. We got the passage cleared and brought it ahead. In a span of few minutes, it was allowed to go.”<\/em><\/p>\n
