A zoomed in version of the same is posted below. Has there been foul play, as alleged by users who shared their own screenshots on social media platforms?<\/p>\n<h2><strong>No discrepancy in records<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The figure of over 13 lakh votes polled in favour of Rahul Gandhi is false. This is because the total number of votes polled in the constituency was 10,89,819, according to a report of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindu.com\/news\/national\/kerala\/7977-polling-in-wayanad\/article26925703.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>The Hindu<\/em> <\/a>published on April 24.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-37073\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/05\/wayanad-1024x413.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/05\/wayanad-1024x413.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/05\/wayanad-300x121.png 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/05\/wayanad-768x310.png 768w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/05\/wayanad-990x400.png 990w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/05\/wayanad-1320x533.png 1320w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/05\/wayanad.png 1741w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thus, it is not possible for 13 lakh votes to have been cast in favour of the Congress president. Moreover, it may be noted that in the 2014 Lok Sabha election, a total of 915,138 votes were cast in the Wayanad constituency. This information is available on the website of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ceo.kerala.gov.in\/pdf\/generalelection2014\/GE_2014_DETAILED_RESULT.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala<\/a>. The numbers this time (10,89,819) vis-a-vis 2014, are consistent and proportionate with the increase in population.
