Alt News found that this video went viral in 2018 and was subsequently reported by several media outlets. The man in the video was identified by the media as Rohit Tomar, son of Delhi sub-inspector Ashok Tomar. Hindustan Times<\/a> <\/em>reported, “The son of a Delhi policeman has been arrested after he was seen slapping and kicking a woman and knocking her to the ground in a disturbing video. The arrest was reported soon after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted that he had ordered action.”<\/em><\/p>\n
