It is being claimed that the message was issued by the Senior Investigation officer of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The message reads as follows,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;A Serious Alert &#8230; According to intelligence reports A distraught and frustrated Pakistan, since it is incapable of attacking India in a direct war, is seeking Chinese help to cause the following damage,\/ disturbance in India &#8230; Please read this carefully and take proper care to safeguard your family from any kind of health or other problems.<br \/>\n1.A different kind of crackers that produce smoke to cause Asthma in people who inhale that smoke.<br \/>\n2.Besides these crackers are also designed to produce Carbon Monoxide to cause breathing difficulty in people.<br \/>\nfurther, China is reportedly producing decorative coloured electric bulbs and serial bulbs with a high content of Mercury. A Facebook page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FINDFAKENEWS\/posts\/346851742446571?comment_id=346874772444268&amp;comment_tracking=%7B%22tn%22%3A%22R%22%7D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>FIND FAKE NEWS<\/em><\/a> posted a similar message attributed to &#8216;Senior Investigation Officer, Home Ministry&#8217;. The message posted by the page debunks the viral post.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FINDFAKENEWS\/posts\/346851742446571\" data-width=\"500\" data-show-text=\"true\">\n<blockquote class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\" cite=\"https:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/FINDFAKENEWS\/posts\/346851742446571\"><p>Another fake news spreading on whatsapp and Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccording to Intelligence, Pakistan can not attack India&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FINDFAKENEWS\/\">FIND FAKE News<\/a> on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/FINDFAKENEWS\/posts\/346851742446571\">Friday, 13 October 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>Alt News contacted the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the viral message circulating on social media. An official in MHA, who spoke on condition of anonymity, has described the message as, <em>&#8220;completely false and a hoax&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A search on MHA&#8217;s website and official Twitter handle with relevant keywords bore no results.
