A screenshot of the video had been published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesnownews.com\/mirror-now\/crime\/article\/watch-drunk-man-assaults-traffic-cops-who-stopped-him-for-not-wearing-a-helmet\/297213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Times Now<\/em><\/a> along with the report, which stated that the man was allegedly drunk and according to eyewitnesses, assaulted the policemen after he was stopped for not wearing a helmet. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-45808\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/09\/auto4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"729\" height=\"506\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/09\/auto4.jpg 729w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/09\/auto4-300x208.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 729px) 100vw, 729px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While Times Now mentioned Bengaluru as the scene of this incident, we also found a report by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/karnataka-news\/watch-karnataka-lawyer-allegedly-drunk-assaults-traffic-cops-1929938\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>NDTV<\/em><\/a> which stated that it had occurred at Davangere in Karnataka. The same was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ANI\/status\/1049977139703951360?s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>ANI<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0Alt News also found a video report by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HG3Um7ZgxPg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>News18 Telugu<\/em><\/a> regarding the same incident.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/WATCH?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#WATCH<\/a>: A man who was allegedly drunk assaulted two traffic policemen in Karnataka&#8217;s Davangere earlier today.
