Several other media outlets including NDTV<\/a>, The Statesman<\/a>, The Fress Press Journal<\/a>, and Moneycontrol<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>have also published articles where it is being claimed that Gabbard is the first Indian-origin woman candidate for the US presidential elections. NDTV<\/em> and The Fress Press Journal<\/em> have credited their stories to ANI<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the past as well, mainstream media outlets such as Republic TV<\/em><\/a>, Zee Business<\/em><\/a> and India Today<\/em><\/a> have reported Gabbard as a woman of Indian-origin.<\/p>\n

Alt News found that the 37-year-old Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard is not of Indian-origin. She has herself publically clarified the same on Twitter<\/a> in October 2012. It was also reiterated<\/a> by her in 2014.<\/p>\n
