The clip was also shared by Mahesh Hegde, the man behind the fake news portal\u00a0Postcard News.\u00a0<\/em>He blamed Indian media, instead of Karnataka media, for not reporting the incident.<\/p>\n

If one analyzes the clip carefully, the woman indeed thrashes the man for molesting her daughter. She repeatedly says, “do you have no shame? how dare you…my daughter.”\u00a0<\/em>The woman and the other people in the video speak in a mixed Hindi-Urdu dialect, which suggests that the clip was not shot in the southern parts of the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Upon searching for the video with the keywords – ‘Maulvi molest girl mosque’ – we found that it is from last year<\/a>.
