Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Kiran Bedi had tweeted the video on October 20, 2017. She too claimed that the elderly woman was Hiraben Modi and wrote, <em>&#8220;Spirit of Deepavali at tender age of 97.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Spirit of Deepavali at tender age of 97. The earliest instance of the video was traced back to September 30, 2017, uploaded with the caption, <em>&#8220;Garba fever.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Garba fever\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rxf6e9UihaI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Alt News had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/kiran-bedi-love-screamingly-fake-whatsapp-forwards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">debunked<\/a> this video when it was shared by Bedi two years ago. Hiraben Modi&#8217;s face is circular while the other woman has an oval face structure.
