His tweet has been retweeted over 2400 times so far. The message along with it, posted in Urdu, rather loosely translates to, <em>&#8220;<span lang=\"en\">The RSS terrorist organization occupied the whole of India, controlling them from the film industry to the Indian Army. And yet so much grace on them, even our media groups speak their language.&#8221; <\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en\">It is clear that the blame for the ghastly incident is placed on the RSS, suggesting that the incident took place in India.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>FACT CHECK: VIDEO NOT FROM INDIA<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The video in question is old, and not from India. The incident had occurred in Guatemala in Central America. The woman seen in the video was accused of having murdered a cab driver along with two male accomplices. She was apprehended by a mob and lynched. Her accomplices meanwhile had managed to escape. The incident had been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.in\/search?q=guatemala+16+year+old+burnt+beaten\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">covered extensively<\/a>\u00a0by the media when it had occurred in early 2015.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-48267\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/guate3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"495\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/guate3.jpg 491w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/guate3-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/guate3-298x300.jpg 298w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>SHARED EARLIER WITH FALSE, COMMUNAL CONTEXT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In 2017, the same video was shared with the false, communal narrative that it represented a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/right-wingers-pass-off-guatemalan-mob-lynching-video-one-marwadi-woman-burnt-alive-muslim-mob\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marwari woman<\/a> who had married a Muslim man and was lynched because she refused to wear a burqa.<\/p>\n<p>Again, in 2018, the video was portrayed by certain sections on social media as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/old-video-from-guatemala-shared-as-hindu-woman-lynched-in-mp-for-attending-church-prayer-meet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hindu girl<\/a>\u00a0burnt alive in Madhya Pradesh because she had attended a prayer meeting at a church.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-48263\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/guate2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"1017\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/guate2.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/guate2-227x300.jpg 227w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It may be noted that the gruesome video showing a young woman burnt alive by a mob, is from Guatemala and NOT from India.
