Alt News is not posting the video here due to graphic imagery. The video has been <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mahwashajaz_\/status\/1181290083518963713?s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">quote-tweeted<\/a> by several users. An obscure Twitter account <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HRNewsWorld\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Human Rights News (World)<\/a> (<em>@HRNewsWorld<\/em>) shared the video with the exact narrative. The tweet has garnered over 1,200 retweets so far. It has credited the video to the handle <em>@RANIMUKERJI<\/em> (posted above).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-48319\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/bihar2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"532\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/bihar2.png 449w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/bihar2-253x300.png 253w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 449px) 100vw, 449px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>FACT CHECK<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Alt News had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/2018-video-from-bihar-falsely-shared-as-bajrang-dal-members-assaulting-a-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">debunked<\/a> the same video earlier when it was shared with a slightly different narrative- instead of RSS, it was the Bajrang Dal which was blamed for this disturbing assault. It may, however, be noted that these claims are false. Moreover, the video is not recent.<\/p>\n<p>To ascertain the origin of the video and the correct narrative, Alt News used specific <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=woman+paraded+naked+beaten+Bihar&amp;rlz=1C1CHBF_enIN773IN773&amp;source=lnms&amp;tbm=nws&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=0ahUKEwjqw72mx5bjAhU88HMBHcXdC1IQ_AUIESgC&amp;biw=1366&amp;bih=576\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">key words<\/a> and found several news reports. The said incident had indeed occurred in Bihar. However, there was no reference to either RSS or Bajrang Dal in any of these reports. The incident had taken place in Bihiya town of Bhojpur district in August 2018. The woman was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-asia-india-45218560\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">suspected<\/a> to be involved in the death of a youth whose body was found near the railway station. This resulted in protests, and the woman, who lived in a red-light area nearby, was dragged out and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/cities\/bihar-woman-paraded-naked-beaten-up-after-boy-she-was-seen-with-is-found-dead\/story-dSEspk8Jlm50BxcguEqPhP.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">assaulted<\/a> on the street. Moreover, it may be noted that<a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/city\/patna\/16-held-8-cops-suspended-for-bihiya-strip-parade-violence\/articleshow\/65493199.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> RJD leader<\/a>\u00a0Kaushal Kishore Yadav was among 16 people arrested for the violence at Bihiya.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-48298\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/biharbeating3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"568\" height=\"494\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/biharbeating3.jpg 568w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/10\/biharbeating3-300x261.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 568px) 100vw, 568px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It may be reiterated that an old video has been shared with a false narrative.
