In fact, the video is not from India but from Oman.<\/p>\n<p>Alt News spotted a signboard in one of the video clips which said, &#8216;Al Bahri Road&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50303\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/11\/oman5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"654\" height=\"421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/11\/oman5.png 654w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/11\/oman5-300x193.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 654px) 100vw, 654px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We then Googled &#8216;Al Bahri road&#8217;. According to the search result, this road is in Muscat, Oman &#8211; a fancy promenade in the capital city, not unlike the Marine Drive of Mumbai.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-50305\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/11\/oman7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"774\" height=\"416\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/11\/oman7.png 774w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/11\/oman7-300x161.png 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/11\/oman7-768x413.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 774px) 100vw, 774px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Using the keywords &#8216;Al Bahri road&#8217; on YouTube, Alt News found a five-minute-long video posted on October 30, 2019, titled, <em>&#8216;Latest Kyarr Cyclone II Mathra Corniche Cyclone 2019 II Muscat\/Oman&#8217;<\/em>. This video contains the footage which has been shared on social media in the form of short clips. It is from a place on Al Bahri road called &#8216;Mutrah Corniche&#8217;, a seaward extension of the shore.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Latest Kyarr Cyclone II Mathra Corniche Cyclone 2019 II Muscat\/Oman II shahibond II\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5zSYfBul_vI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It may be recalled that cyclone Kyarr had formed over the Arabian sea region in October 2019, bringing a mild storm surge and rainfall to the coastal regions of Oman. The cyclone system had <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofoman.com\/article\/2154943\/Oman\/Environment\/Cyclone-Kyarr-weakens-near-Oman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">subsequently weakened<\/a> and ceased to be a threat.
