Alt News found that the photograph circulated on social media is not of the juvenile convict in the Nirbhaya case. While the juvenile’s name was not released, it was reported<\/a> by the media. However, the photograph shows Vinay Sharma, one of the four adult convicts sentenced to death for the crime. It was published by The Hindu<\/em><\/a> in August 2016. Sharma worked as an assistant at a gym, and had tried to commit suicide in 2016.<\/p>\n
