Upon reverse-searching the image, we came across the same photograph on the website of Nithyananda, <a href=\"http:\/\/nithyananda.org\/#gsc.tab=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>www.nithyananda.org<\/em><\/a> in July 2017. The person in the picture is Mr. Jagdishwar Goburdhun, the High Commissioner of Mauritius to India. The photograph pertains to Guru Purnima celebrations on July 9, 2017, when a MoU was signed for the establishment of the Nithyananda Gurukul and Nithyananda University in Mauritius. Posted below is another image from the same event.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-53162\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/12\/nithya3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"722\" height=\"630\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/12\/nithya3.jpg 722w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/12\/nithya3-300x262.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 722px) 100vw, 722px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The two pictures i.e the viral image and the above image have been juxtaposed and posted below for comparison.
