The idol has not been recovered from Ayodhya, but from a site in Madhya Pradesh. Upon reverse-searching the image, Alt News found it in a news report by the Hindi publication <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patrika.com\/bhopal-news\/madhya-pradesh-ancient-statue-found-in-farm-during-excavation-4830655\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Patrika<\/em><\/a>. The report of July 2019 states that the idol was found in the village of Barkhedi Abdulla in Bhopal district of MP.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-53411\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/12\/bhopal1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"484\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/12\/bhopal1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2019\/12\/bhopal1-300x269.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The report also contains a similar image to the one which has been shared widely as the recovery of a Hanuman idol at the site of the five acres allotted to the Sunni Waqf Board. Alt News found these images on another website, <a href=\"https:\/\/samacharofindia.com\/?p=8415\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Samachar of India<\/em><\/a>. This report too is of July 2019.
