After breaking up the video into multiple frames and reverse-searching on Google, we found several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LphRIGTWyuk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">similar videos<\/a> posted on YouTube. These videos depict the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraphindia.com\/states\/west-bengal\/borders-blur\/cid\/1455654\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Milon Mela<\/em><\/a>, a fair organized on the India-Bangladesh border in April and December each year where families greet one another on both sides of the border. However, unlike the viral video, no one is seen crossing the fence in these videos.<\/p>\n<p>With the use of the keywords &#8216;Milan Mela border&#8217; and after scrolling through multiple videos, we came across the same video <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8i7R1_pE7uQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">posted on YouTube<\/a> in 2015, titled, &#8216;<em>Aboidho probes (Bangladesh to India)<\/em>&#8216;. It may be noted that &#8216;Aboidho&#8217; in Bengali means &#8216;illegal&#8217;. In the description of the video, the uploader has mentioned &#8216;<em>Milon Mela 15\/04\/2015<\/em>&#8216;, thus suggesting that the video depicts the <em>Milon Mela<\/em> held in April 2015. However, Alt News could not independently ascertain this claim.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Illegal entry from bangladesh to india at Milan mela in West Bengal Uttar Dinajpur\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8i7R1_pE7uQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The video was posted on May 20, 2015, and has been viewed over 1.5 million times. Alt News could not ascertain why the people seen in the video are crossing the fence, or who they are.
