A photograph of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accompanied with a burqa-clad woman is doing the rounds on social media. Along with this, two more images of a woman who saved her male friend from police lathi-charge during anti-CAA protests in Delhi are shared to assert they are the same people. The claim hints that anti-CAA student protests are a Congress conspiracy.<\/p>\n

We cropped out the stand-alone photograph of the girl seen with Rahul Gandhi and performed a Google reverse image search. It revealed<\/a> that the girl’s name is Safa Febin, a 17-year-old student at Karuvakundu Government Higher Secondary School in Malappuram, Kerala. Gandhi was at the school to inaugurate its new science lab. The girl translated Gandhi’s speech after he threw an open challenge to the 4000 students to translate his English speech to Malayalam.<\/p>\n
