On December 19, protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019, took a violent turn and left several people including 19 police personnel injured<\/a> in Shah Alam area of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. According to a report, at around 5 PM, violence erupted after protesters threw stones and attacked police personnel and their vehicles. The police had reportedly come to disperse the protesters from the agitation site.<\/p>\n
