In the latest attempt to dilute the violence against students, BJP volunteer Vikas Pandey has <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MODIfiedVikas\/status\/1228999032737013760\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">juxtaposed<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/91phE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">archive<\/a>) two images. While one of them shows a student present in the M. Phil\/ Post Graduation reading room at the time of police lathi-charge and the other shows a muffled man in a video where arsonists set a motorcycle on fire. Both incidents had taken place on the same day &#8211; December 15, 2019. Pandey alleged that they are the same person on the basis of the clothes are wearing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-59177 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/02\/vikas-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"594\" height=\"567\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/02\/vikas-2.jpg 594w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/02\/vikas-2-300x286.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 594px) 100vw, 594px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pandey runs a propaganda page on Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/iSupportNamo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8216;I Support Narendra Modi&#8217;<\/a> which has over 16 million followers.<\/p>\n<h4>Not the same person<\/h4>\n<p>In the course of this fact-check, we will show the dissimilarities in their clothing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Different jacket\/ sweatshirt\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While the student in the reading room is wearing a jacket with a zipper, the man in the arson video is wearing a closed sweatshirt.
