A notice that warns people of Rs 11,000 fine for roaming on the streets or opening shops on March 22 is circulating on social media in the name of Delhi police. It is noteworthy that the purported circular is being shared in the view of the ‘Junta curfew’ announced by prime minister Narendra Modi on March 22 between 7 am and 9 pm in the view of the coronavirus outbreak.<\/p>\n

Fake notice<\/h4>\n

Lack of media reports on the purported notice hints that it is fake. Alt News was also unable to locate it on Delhi police website. DCP South Delhi tweeted that the notice is fake and hasn’t been issued by them.<\/p>\n
