It was published by YouTube channel Imran Aslam in 2014.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pakistan Navy Ship BABUR VS Indian Navy ship\" width=\"1290\" height=\"968\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7e_abTfvaqc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Amongst other results, we found reports by <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=64eEQv6L8R8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NDTV<\/a><\/em> and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9oiNXqvsKWs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Times Now<\/a><\/em> from 2011. The naval ships involved in the video are the Indian Naval Ship (INS) Godavari and Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) Babar. Thus, the Indian ship is incorrectly referred to as INS Talwar in the viral video,<\/p>\n<p>Using this as a clue, Alt News performed keyword search on Google and found that The Ministry of External Affairs, India published a <a href=\"https:\/\/mea.gov.in\/press-releases.htm?dtl\/532\/India+lodges+protest+against+PNS+Baburs+risky+manoeuvres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">press release<\/a> on June 18, 2011. It said, &#8220;India lodged a protest today with the Government of Pakistan through the High Commission of Pakistan, New Delhi against the violation by Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) Babur of relevant regulations on navigational safety as contained in the \u2018International Regulations for Prevention of Collisions at Sea&#8217; and Article 10 of the \u2018Agreement between India-Pakistan on Advance Notice on Military Exercises, Manoeuvres and Troops Movements 1991&#8242; involving INS Godavari on high seas. PNS Babur by its risky manoeuvres jeopardised the safety of INS Godavari and its crew.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>NDTV&#8217;s <\/em>report shows crew on Pakistani warship celebrating after the ship nudged INS Godavari.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Video shows celebrations on Pak warship after it hit INS Godavari\" width=\"1290\" height=\"968\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/64eEQv6L8R8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">In a <em>Times Now <\/em>report, Indian Naval Chief Admiral (2011) Nirmal Verma said, &#8220;Incident which took place unfortunately where the ship of Pakistan navy came much closer than what is prudent as far as anybody operating ships at sea is concerned.&#8221; According to the report the incident took place at the Gulf of Aden.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pak ship PNS Babur at fault: Navy chief\" width=\"1290\" height=\"968\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9oiNXqvsKWs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Thus the social media claim that the viral video is from a recent event on Gujarat coastline is totally false.
