The YouTube channel described the video as a mock drill in Bhagalpur Central Jail.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bihar \u0915\u0947 Bhagalpur Central Jail \u092e\u0947\u0902 \u0939\u0941\u0906 \u0915\u094b\u0930\u094b\u0928\u093e \u0915\u093e \u092e\u0949\u0915 \u0921\u094d\u0930\u093f\u0932, \u0910\u0938\u0947 \u0939\u0940 \u0924\u0921\u093c\u092a\u0924\u093e \u0939\u0948 \u0915\u094b\u0930\u094b\u0928\u093e \u0915\u093e \u092e\u0930\u0940\u091c\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xIXG_XK21_Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A subsequent search led us to an article published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jagran.com\/bihar\/bhagalpur-live-bhagalpur-coronavirus-news-update-bhagalpur-and-munger-district-succeeded-in-defeating-corona-20189343.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dainik Jagran<\/a> on April 14.\u00a0 The report said a mock drill on how to rescue a coronavirus patient was conducted in Bhagalpur Central Jail.\u00a0 The patient seen in the video is the prison cell keeper. According to the report, this video quickly became viral on social media with the false claim that a jail official was infected with the virus. Following this, the administration complained to SSP Ashish Bharti who said that action will be taken against those who circulate unverified videos on the outbreak.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-69200 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/06\/pic.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"895\" height=\"577\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/06\/pic.png 895w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/06\/pic-300x193.png 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/06\/pic-768x495.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 895px) 100vw, 895px\" \/><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bhaskar.com\/bihar\/bhagalpur\/news\/mock-drill-in-both-jails-to-take-care-of-corona-patients-063656-7001726.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dainik Bhaskar<\/a> had also reported on the case.<\/p>\n<p>Media outlets <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelallantop.com\/factcheck\/fact-check-viral-video-claiming-an-officer-coughing-in-bhagalpur-central-jail-due-to-coronavirus-is-misleading-and-not-true\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Lallantop<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thequint.com\/news\/webqoof\/covid-19-case-in-jail-premises-fact-check\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Quint<\/a> had published fact-check articles when the video was viral in April.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, a video of a coronavirus mock drill conducted in Bhagalpur Central Jail in April was shared with the false claim that a jail official contracted the virus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A video of a man surrounded by policemen lying on the ground is being shared on social media.
