His post, which drew over 41,000 shares and millions of views, claimed that the clip was shot in Bishop Scott Girls School in Patna. The women seen in the video is the director of the school.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=3037318379656253&amp;id=100001343627437\" data-show-text=\"true\" data-width=\"\">\n<blockquote class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\" cite=\"https:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=3037318379656253&amp;id=100001343627437\"><p>This video belongs to BISHOP SCOTT GIRLS SCHOOL PATNA .This lady is director of school<\/p>\n<p>Posted by <a role=\"button\" href=\"#\">Dharmendra Kumar<\/a> on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=3037318379656253&amp;id=100001343627437\">Saturday, 20 June 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>Using this as a clue, Alt News performed a keyword search on Google and found a June 26 report in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibtimes.co.in\/patna-school-misbehaves-parent-over-school-fee-video-goes-viral-823275\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">International Business Times (IBT)<\/a>. As per the report, despite the government&#8217;s instructions to private schools to not charge fees during the lockdown period, many institutions are pressuring parents to deposit admission fees and school fees. &#8220;Not only does the lady from the school management threatens the parent, but she also apparently tries to snatch the phone from the parent&#8217;s hand and misbehaves,&#8221; reads the report.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=3037318379656253&amp;id=100001343627437\" data-show-text=\"true\" data-width=\"\">\n<p>On June 23, <a href=\"https:\/\/hindi.news18.com\/news\/bihar\/patna-education-department-put-up-committee-to-investigate-viral-video-of-patna-bishop-scott-school-brrk-bramk-3158860.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">News18<\/a> published a report in Hindi on the incident. As per the report, &#8220;Director of Primary Education Ranjit Kumar Singh ordered an inquiry against Patna&#8217;s Scort Girls School and set up a two-member investigation team. He reiterated that during the lockdown, the government had ordered that there would be no transportation charge and the school should not pressurize for fees. The government order is applicable to all the schools except minority schools.
