The video is titled, &#8220;Bangladesh Islami Andolon Bangladesh enclose myanmar Embassy&#8221; and was uploaded by a channel called Spice InfoTube.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Islami Andolon Bangladesh enclose myanmar Embassy\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nUdUhyRQJXA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Another YouTube channel called The Rohingya Post had uploaded a similar video on September 13, 2017. Its description reads, &#8220;Thousands of Islami Andolon Bangladesh marched towards the Myanmar Embassy in Dhaka demanding an end to the atrocities on Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar\u2019s Rakhine state. As per the previous declaration, thousands of supporters of the Islamist party started their protest march in front of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque around 12.30 PM on Wednesday. Police barred the protesters at Kakrail Mor but the agitating party men managed to shatter the barricade and continued marching forward until they encountered another police barricade at Shantinagar intersection.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Islami Andolon\u2019s march towards Myanmar Embassy\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/it4Z_WgJWBs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On September 13, 2017, The <a href=\"https:\/\/thefinancialexpress.com.bd\/public\/index.php\/national\/thousands-in-dhaka-protest-myanmar-treatment-of-rohingyas-1505296104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Financial Express reported<\/a>, &#8220;Thousands of people in capital Dhaka have rallied in protests against the violence like killings and arsons against Rohingya Muslims in the northern Rakhine state of Myanmar.&#8221; Apart from this, Bangladesh news website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.banglanews24.com\/politics\/news\/bd\/602025.details\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bangla News 24<\/a> had also published a report about this demonstration.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, a three-year-old video from Bangladesh was shared online with the false claim that it was from West Bengal. Kolkata police had shared a screenshot of Tarek Fatah&#8217;s tweet clarifying that it was fake news. They also mentioned that they are taking the necessary legal action on the matter. A few hours after this tweet, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TarekFatah\/status\/1299252509685448704\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fatah issued a tweet apologising<\/a> for sharing misleading information.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/FakeNewsAlert?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#FakeNewsAlert<\/a><br \/>\nA video clip from Bangladesh is being falsely claimed to be from Kolkata.
