(<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/nH3QQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">archived link<\/a>) It was also tweeted by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RenukaJain6\/status\/1318884610793644033\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Renuka Jain<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>[embedyt] https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=W7tkwNpixQ0[\/embedyt]<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, the video was massively viral on Facebook with Spanish text, &#8220;Atracci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica en Ir\u00e1n, las personas van a la cima de la monta\u00f1a, a observar la guerra entre #Azerbaiy\u00e1n y #Armenia&#8221;. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EscenarioFinalOficial\/posts\/1272529216460123\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">One such video<\/a> had close to four million views and 7,000 shares. According to The Washington Times, &#8220;Nearly 800 Armenians have died since the war began September\u200927, as per official reports; the Azerbaijani side hasn\u2019t announced casualties, but they\u2019re also believed to be heavy.&#8221; Attempts to broker two cease-fires by France and Russia failed and the US Secretary of State <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2020\/10\/19\/mike-pompeo-azerbaijan-armenia-430151\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Pompeo<\/a> is scheduled to meet foreign ministers of the two countries at war on October 23.<\/p>\n<h4>Video unrelated to the recent conflict<\/h4>\n<p>After performing multiple reverse image searches on Google and Yandex we found that this video was circulating in November 2019. A YouTube user uploaded the video with the title &#8216;BM-21 GRAD (\u0411\u041c-21 &#8220;\u0413\u0440\u0430\u0434&#8221;) &#8211; Rapid Fire&#8217; on November 27, 2019. As per the defence and security website, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armyrecognition.com\/russia_russian_army_vehicles_system_artillery_uk\/bm-21_grad_9k51_mlrs_122mm_multiple_launch_rocket_system_data.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Army Recognition<\/a>, BM-21 Grad is a Soviet truck-mounted with 122-mm multiple rocket launcher.<\/p>\n<p>[embedyt] https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SwiKeOpI5jM[\/embedyt]<\/p>\n<p>It was also uploaded by a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/debily_bl\/status\/1196492789627965440?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Russian Twitter user<\/a> on November 18, 2019. Thus, the social media claim that video is recent is false.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/debily_bl\/status\/1196492789627965440?s=20<\/p>\n<p>In the fourth second of the video, we can see a man wear a hoodie with &#8216;Russia&#8217; written on it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-78353 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-17.07.16.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1437\" height=\"777\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-17.07.16.jpg 1437w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-17.07.16-300x162.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-17.07.16-1024x554.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-17.07.16-768x415.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1437px) 100vw, 1437px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also found a screenshot on Chinese website <a href=\"https:\/\/xw.qq.com\/cmsid\/20191119A0A06D00\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">QQ<\/a> (accessed using VPN in Opera browser) along with a Chinese caption suggesting the video is from Rocket Forces and Artillery Day held in Russia each year.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-78351 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.38.50.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1399\" height=\"823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.38.50.jpg 1399w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.38.50-300x176.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.38.50-1024x602.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.38.50-768x452.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1399px) 100vw, 1399px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fact-checks from <a href=\"https:\/\/factcheck.afp.com\/footage-circulated-2019-reports-about-spectators-military-performance-russia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AFP<\/a> and Brazil-based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.e-farsas.com\/video-mostra-moradores-do-ira-assistindo-ao-conflito-entre-armenia-e-azerbaijao.html\">E-Farsa<\/a> also concluded that the video is from Russia&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themoscowtimes.com\/2019\/11\/18\/russia-fires-heavy-artillery-before-missile-forces-holiday-a68211\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Missile Forces and Artillery Day<\/a> which is celebrated annually on<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?hl=en&amp;q=Day%20of%20Missile%20Forces%20and%20Artillery%20Russia%20date\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> November 19<\/a>. The reports found that viral video was uploaded by YouTube user <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ex_zU0pQF-U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u0411\u041e\u0413 \u0420\u0410\u0422\u0410<\/a> on November 17, 2019. As per AFP, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ex_zU0pQF-U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u0411\u041e\u0413 \u0420\u0410\u0422\u0410<\/a>&#8216;s video description included a report by Russia-owned website Russia Beyond. However, the video description no longer exists. Russia Beyond stated that video is from 2019 Missile Forces and Artillery Day at Lushki military range.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-78365\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.57.40.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"662\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.57.40.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.57.40-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.57.40-1024x628.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/10\/Screenshot-2020-10-20-at-16.57.40-768x471.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Therefore an old video from Russia was widely circulated on social media with the claim that Iranians are watching the on-going conflict between <span class=\"d2edcug0 hpfvmrgz qv66sw1b c1et5uql oi732d6d ik7dh3pa fgxwclzu a8c37x1j keod5gw0 nxhoafnm aigsh9s9 d3f4x2em fe6kdd0r mau55g9w c8b282yb iv3no6db jq4qci2q a3bd9o3v knj5qynh oo9gr5id hzawbc8m\" dir=\"auto\">Azerbaijan and Armenia<\/span> from a mountain top.
