We also found a picture of this incident in a Saaksha TV interview from November 9, 2020, which resembled the viral visuals. It states that this incident occurred in Karnataka&#8217;s Mysore.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-80691 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/11\/word-image-6-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"903\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/11\/word-image-6-9.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/11\/word-image-6-9-300x271.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/11\/word-image-6-9-768x694.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Using a keyword search we found a report by <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/city\/mysuru\/young-womans-half-burnt-body-found-murder-suspected\/articleshow\/79117197.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Times of India<\/a> dated November 9, 2020. This article quoted police sources as saying, &#8220;Around 5.30 am on Sunday, a local nurse and two of her friends were on a morning walk. They found smoke coming from an unknown object. As the smoke was thick, they decided to check where the smoke was coming from. They were shocked to see a body burning. They screamed and tens of locals rushed to the spot. They found a woman&#8217;s body that was set on fire and alerted police.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The report also mentions that the police believe the girl&#8217;s age is between 18 to 20 years. Due to the severity of her burns, she could not be identified immediately. However, police are still investigating the matter.<\/p>\n<p>The video was earlier debunked by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boomlive.in\/fake-news\/disturbing-video-of-woman-burnt-in-karnataka-peddled-as-up-10700\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boomlive<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A disturbing video depicting a burned dead body of a woman in Karnataka is circulating with the false claim that the incident took place in UP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A disturbing video claimed to be from Uttar Pradesh has been making the rounds on social media.
