The narrator claims fresh lockdown will be imposed in the country. The clip received over 4.5 million views at the time of writing. If he had indeed issued such a statement, it would have undoubtedly received widespread media coverage.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, no such announcement was made by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/narendramodi?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PM Modi<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PMOIndia?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Prime Minister&#8217;s Office<\/a> on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>On November 24, the PM held a meeting with the chief ministers of several states to discuss the provision and distribution of coronavirus vaccine in India. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aajtak.in\/india\/news\/story\/pm-modi-meeting-with-cms-of-8-states-to-review-covid-situation-coronavirus-lbs-1166690-2020-11-24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aaj Tak\u2019s November 24 report<\/a>, &#8220;The Center has already clarified that state governments will not need to arrange for a separate vaccine. The central government will be providing the vaccine to all the states.&#8221; As per the government&#8217;s plan, the vaccine will first be administered to health workers and the elderly. We did not find any media reports suggesting that the prime minister made an announcement about fresh lockdowns during this meeting.<\/p>\n<p>It is noteworthy that rising covid cases across the country has prompted states like Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Haryana to impose <a href=\"https:\/\/hindi.moneycontrol.com\/news\/country\/coronavirus-threat-increased-again-in-the-country-recently-these-states-have-announced-lockdown_247689.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">restrictions and curfews<\/a>.
