Another Twitter user <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheAngryLord\/status\/1332409860810440704\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@TheAngryLord<\/a> asserted that the protests are &#8220;fake&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Image predates farmer protests<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The photograph being circulated was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100004483816544\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">posted<\/a> by Nazeer Mohd on his Facebook profile on April 8, 2020.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-81194 \" src=\"http:\/\/www.altnews.in\/english-clone-2026\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/11\/Screenshot-2020-11-28-at-2.35.44-PM.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"325\" height=\"495\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The central government promulgated three Ordinances <a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/explained\/punjab-haryana-farmer-protests-explained-delhi-chalo-farm-laws-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in June<\/a> claiming to usher in agricultural reforms. The picture was shot two months before these were introduced and approved by the President. The Centre introduced three Bills in the monsoon session of the Parliament to replace the Ordinances. This was in September when the Bills soon became law. Farmer groups have since been protesting.<\/p>\n<p>The picture, therefore, cannot represent a Muslim man disguising as a Sikh to take part in farmer protests.
