Farmers have been protesting against the centre’s new agricultural laws since the past few months. As per a report by The Indian Express<\/a>, ‘Bharat Bandh’ strike observed by the farmers on December 8 was supported by 15 opposition parties, trade unions and two railway unions.<\/p>\n
